Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 July 2026

Meridian Consulting & Leadership (Pty) Ltd t/a Meridian ("Meridian", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through meridianimpact.co.za, why, and what rights you have over it under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

This website does not use cookies. It does not track you across other websites, and it does not build a profile of you.

We do use privacy-friendly analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand how the site is being used. This is measured without cookies and without identifying individual visitors. It records aggregate information such as which pages were viewed, which site or search engine referred you, the country you visited from, and your general device and browser type. We cannot use it to identify you personally.

The fonts used on this site are served from our own servers rather than a third party, so loading a page does not disclose your visit to any outside company.

Beyond that, the only personal information we receive is what you choose to give us directly, for example if you email us, call us, or book a Discovery Session. That typically includes your name, email address, phone number, business name, and whatever details you share about your enquiry.

Why we collect it

We use analytics only to understand which parts of the site are useful and to improve it.

We use the information you send us solely to respond to your enquiry, discuss your business needs, and, if you choose to engage us, to deliver Track A (Fractional COO & AI Implementation) or Track B (Operations & Admin Partner) services. We process this information on the basis of your consent in contacting us, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.

How we use it

We never sell your information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. If you become a client, information may be used in the course of delivering the engagement (for example, bookkeeping or reporting work under Track B), always in line with the agreement between us.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, typically the length of our conversation or engagement, unless South African law requires us to keep records for longer (for example, financial and tax records).

Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct or update inaccurate information
  • Ask us to delete your information, where we're not required to keep it by law
  • Object to how we're processing your information
  • Lodge a complaint with South Africa's Information Regulator if you believe we've handled your information improperly

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

Changes to this policy

If we start using cookies, additional tracking, or online forms in future, we'll update this page to reflect that before those changes go live.

This policy is written in plain language to be genuinely useful, not as a substitute for legal advice. We'd recommend a qualified South African attorney reviews it against current POPIA guidance before relying on it, especially once the site adds any forms.
